Campaign Notes
Brian Rooney, a candidate for U.S. House District 7, has named Jackson resident Michael Marzano his campaign manager.
Rooney, of Dexter, is one of three Republicans hoping to take the seat held by U.S. Rep. Mark Schauer, D-Battle Creek.
Other Republicans running are Marvin Carlson of Manchester and Tim Walberg, the Tipton resident who lost the seat to Schauer in 2008. Scott Aughney, an independent from Jackson, also is seeking the House seat
